Enrique Pearce is a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania. He received his
Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Northwestern University
in 1996. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley
School of Law (Boalt Hall) where he was Senior Projects Editor for the
California Law Review, Articles Editor for La Raza Law Journal, and received
an award as best oralist for his trial advocacy.
Over the past seven years, Mr. Pearce has worked in politics and government in San Francisco, most notably in the City Hall offices of Supervisor Tom Ammiano and Supervisor Matt Gonzalez. He has managed and consulted numerous political campaigns throughout California and Hawai’i. In 2003 he served as campaign manager for Matt Gonzalez for Mayor. As a trial attorney, Mr. Pearce’s practice includes matters of complex civil litigation. He represents clients at all stages of civil proceedings with a focus on employment law, constitutional law and civil rights litigation. Mr. Pearce is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, La Raza Lawyers of California and the Equal Justice Society. Mr. Pearce is a founding partner of Gonzalez & Leigh LLP.
