| Mr. Vereschagin is a native of Chico, California.
In 1993, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of
Oregon where he majored in political science and minored in economics
and history. He is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
In 1996, Mr. Vereschagin received his Juris Doctorate degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law, in San Francisco. He was awarded the CALI Award in Trial Advocacy in his third year. After graduation, Mr. Vereschagin joined Morison-Knox, Holden, Melendez & Prough in Walnut Creek, California, where he practiced complex insurance bad faith litigation and complex fraud litigation. Mr. Vereschagin has also worked for Sedgwick, Detert, Moran & Arnold in San Francisco, California, where he specialized in products liability matters, including asbestos litigation. Through the course of his career, Mr. Vereschagin has developed experience in a wide variety of civil litigation matters including: personal injury suits, product liability suits, minority shareholder freeze-outs, corporate fraud, employment discrimination, bad faith insurance litigation, ponzi schemes and civil RICO. Mr. Vereschagin’s family has farmed the Northern Sacramento Valley since the 1920’s, and he has personally experienced the devastating impact of pesticides and toxic substances on human life and the environment. Mr. Vereschagin is committed to representing consumers and workers against corporate abuse. Mr. Vereschagin is admitted to practice in the courts of California, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, Southern and Eastern Districts. Mr. Vereschagin is a founding partner of Gonzalez & Leigh LLP.
